Christie Brinkley entered into the seventh decade of her life recently, and took to Instagram to celebrate with a gorgeous photo of herself. The single shot featured 70-year-old Brinkley in a long-sleeved ankle-length dress that showed off her bosom with its plunging neckline.
The mother of three had her lush blonde hair in curtain bangs and a blowout that fell to her back and below her shoulders as she shot the camera an endearing smile. Brinkley had some advice for her followers via her caption, urging them to push past limits and go for their dreams at any age.

Brinkley’s fans did not hesitate to wish her a happy birthday, praising her youthful looks and achievements over the years. “If we are limiting ourselves because of our age, we’re defeating ourselves before we’ve even tried. I find your example truly inspiring and full of the zest for life you live in daily. Go Christie!” someone gushed.

A few critics did not quite agree with Brinkley’s caption, which stated that “70 is the new 40.” They deemed such a statement delusional and asked her to stop comparing both life stages. “Easy for you to say,” a follower responded, while some buttressed that Brinkley looks youthful because she can afford to.
Never too late
Brinkley’s message to her supporters as she began a new phase of life was to live life unapologetically and explore. “All this talk about age!” she wrote. “A great time to take on new challenges, volunteer, travel, or start a new company. The sky is the limit. Now is a great time to make your dreams and goals a reality.”
True to her words, Brinkley recently launched her clothing line, TWRHLL, in collaboration with HSN. With her new collection, she intends to blend classic with affordable, providing women of different sizes with comfortable everyday clothing. She also runs her own organic Prosecco brand, Bellissma, all while gracing recent magazine issue covers, including Sports Illustrated and Social Life.
