Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk recently offered his opinion on his social media platform X shortly after President Biden dropped out of the 2024 race and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris. Musk shared a past video of Harris introducing her pronouns while wearing a mask, suggesting four years of her as president would be unimaginable.
While sitting at the head of a “roundtable with disability advocates” discussion, Harris said, “Good afternoon. I want to welcome these leaders for coming in to have this very important discussion about some of the most pressing issues of our time. I am Kamala Harris. My pronouns are ‘she’ and ‘her.’ I am a woman sitting at the table wearing a blue suit.” Musk succinctly commented, “Imagine 4 years of this…”
Throughout the Biden-Harris administration, little consideration was given to the vice president in her predominantly ceremonial job aside from several apparent failures, such as the southern border, which Biden tasked her with handling. However, in light of Biden’s withdrawal from reelection and subsequent endorsement of Harris, she has faced enhanced scrutiny given the prospect of her leading the nation.
Last month, Biden shared on social media, “It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your President. And while it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term.”
Shortly after, Biden officially endorsed Harris, stating, “My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President.” He added, “And it’s been the best decision I’ve made. “Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this.”
In other news related to Elon Musk’s political commentary, The American Tribune recently reported on the discussion between the Tesla founder and former President Donald Trump on X. During the interview, Trump suggested that he would “love” to have Musk lead a government commission that would seek to improve the efficiency behind federal spending.
“Inflation comes from government overspending, because the checks never bounce when it’s written by the government. So if the government spends far more than it brings in, that increases the money supply, and if the money supply increases faster than the rate of goods and services, that’s inflation,” Elon said about government spending.
