A video posted to X shows Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez getting called out and heckled by what the post claims were AOC’s “fed up neighbors” in New York City. AOC represents the state’s 14th District, which includes parts of the Bronx and Queens, so it is possible that it was actually a neighbor heckling her, though it also could have been an activist.
In any case, the individual heckling her verbally attacked her for not sufficiently condemning, in his view, the Hamas terror attacks on Israel. “Oh, AOC. Oh hey, you gotta, you gotta condemn Hamas and the terrorist attacks here,” the heckler yelled.
For reference, AOC did condemn the Hamas terror attack shortly after it occurred, releasing a statement in which she said, “Today is devastating for all those seeking a lasting peace and respect for human rights in Israel and Palestine. I condemn Hamas’ attack in the strongest possible terms. No child and family should ever endure this kind of violence and fear, and this violence will not solve the ongoing oppression and occupation in the region. An immediate ceasefire and de-escalation is urgently needed to save lives.”
Continuing, the heckler accused AOC of not knowing the three branches of government and unleashed a quite rude tired about her not being intelligent and being the “worst,” shouting, “Do you know the three branches of government yet? You are such a loser, you are so stupid, you are the worst, you suck. You are the absolute worst.”
The heckler then continued on the Hamas and branches of government line of attacks on AOC, yelling, as she walked past, “Cannot condemn the Hamas attacks, go bring some more COVID back from Florida. Its executive, judicial, and legislative branches. You are horrible.”
AOC evidently didn’t take the heckling seriously and was laughing, which caused the heckler to start yelling, “Keep laughing, keep laughing!” Continuing the verbal tirade, he then said, “You and Ilhan Omar two peas in a pod two peas in a pod, closed up order you’re doing a great job. Enjoy your Christmas shopping while we-” The video ends there. The account that posted the video captioned it by saying, “HECKLING AOC: Fed up neighbors unload on Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez in New York.”

This is far from the first time that AOC has been heckled in New York City. Back in May of 2023, AOC was heckled at a town hall event in the city. A man at it shouted, “American citizens before migrants!” Holding small American flags and walking toward her as he yelled, he said, “Where are you on the migrant issue? You’re a piece of s–t.”
Also during that event a woman yelled about American support for Ukraine, yelling, “We are at war with Russia. We’re on the verge of nuclear war. Are you going to stop this war?” While being escorted away, she yelled, “Stop funding this war. There’s a lot of communities that need help and need that money. I’m from that community.”
